Cheatham Lake is 67.5 miles long and offers 320 miles of shoreline. It extends all the way to the Old Hickory Dam in Nashville.
Fishing, hunting and boating are just a few of the family activities in this area. The lake also supports a vast wildlife refuge.
Riverview Marina in Ashland City and The Commodore Yacht Club and Rock Harbor Marina in west Nashville serve this part of the Cumberland River.
The Harpeth Shoals Marina is a new 10 acre facility...with 161 boat slips, a market, laundry, fuel dock and public boat ramp.
There will soon be new condos on the lake...the Braxton Condominiums. These units will be within walking distance to downtown Ashland City.
